Super C Fast Hitch questions

Just got a SC with FH. Never been around one before, so I'll have lots of questions. To start:
1. Mine goes up fast and down very slow. Is this normal? The down pressure will pick up one side of the back end but not both at the same time.

2. Mine has flexible hydraulic lines going from the valve in from the the brake pedals to a splitter block of some kind on the floorboard right in front of the seat bracket, then two lines leaving that block go back to the rear cylinder. Some of the lines are worn and leaking, couldn't I just run 2 lines straight back to the rear and take that splitter out. Not sure what it is for.

3. The far left hand control that supposed to (I think) level or tilt the implement side to side doesn't appear to do much. The arm on the left side of the gas tank moves through its full range, just doesn't seem to have any effect on the hitch. Anybody got pictures of the correct attachent points for the linkages?

Thanks,
Bill

congradulations Bill, a super c is a nice rig. The answer to your #2 question is , no, you can't take that check valve out. If you do the hitch will be laying on the floor or close to it every morning when you go out to the shed. That's probably a safety issue too with a heavy load on the hitch. I think most of them worked as you described in question #1. I drilled out two of the holes in that check valve and it works good up & dwn and the hitch won't creep down a bit. As for #3, do you have a leveling link on the left side from touch control arm under clutch pedal and back to left side of hitch above & behind left axle? It's a flat crooked bar about an inch and a half tall and maybe 3/4" thick. happy super c ing. Jim

Jim
Your correct about the drawbar dropping down without the checkvalve. Mine takes about a week to go from all the way up to down. I need to reinstall mine- can you by chance provide the hose routing? ie where to connect the hoses to the block from the control vave and to the cylinder. Thanks

The arm on the left is for lifting implements such as a mower or the front secton of a corn cultivater. The fast hitch mower for that tractor has an bar to make it stationary then it has a lift arm for the bar.
