I have noticed my farmall started to run rough and noticed the hyd fluid empty with the majority of it going to my crankcase on the engine. Is it the hydro pump? Can i get a rebuild kit or something? Please help me. i need some resources for fixing this.

Pump needs a new seal or an o-ring. If the shaft is grooved it needs a speedy sleeve. If it has an o-ring the hole the shaft goes through needs to be enlarged to accept the speedy sleeve. It's an easy fix. Take the pump apart and look at it. Case-IH has the seals and gaskets you need, bearing shop has the speedy sleeve, if needed.

CNKS, Have you hade any experience or feed back using ready sleeves on the fan pulley hub for an A,B, or C? Also what do you use as an adhesive to keep them in place if used on a shaft?

No, I haven't done that. You probably don't need any adhesive, in my opinion, but Loctite can be used -- don't know the number, there are several. You can get a new fan for less than $70, a speedy sleeve that size will cost at least $30, I would opt for the new fan.

IH used Pesco and Thompson pumps. In your case, I don't know if that's important if you only need a seal or an o-ring, as a bearing/seal place can match it. O-rings can be found about anywhere. There is a repair kit for the Pesco pumps, but the Thompson parts are ordered separately. Since you have to take the pump off anyway, see if it has a seal or an o-ring, if a seal the IH number is 353 183 R91, Pesco and Thompson use the same seal. For the Pesco pumps #'s 051012-020-01 thru 051012-020-07; and 051012-024-05 thru 051012-024-07 -- the IH repair kit number is 355 207 R91. Ask your Case-IH dealer to verify these numbers in case I made a mistake.

took the pump apart today and it looked good besides the 4 orings being flat and hard as a rock. i went to ace hardware and found some that were identical looking. put it all together and no more hydro fluid into crankcase. Now it dies after about a 15 minute stint of brush hogging. i will post that on a diff thread though. thanks so much guys, this tractor was handed down to me from my pop and i am trying to get it back into shape.
