On my 574 diesel, I want to bleed the brakes. The manual talks about compressing the hydraulic fluid return line? which is under the cover in the driveline going back. How do I i.d. this line.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, it is the pipe mounted on the right front of the battery box. It has about 3" of rubber hose between the metal pipes. This is where you pinch it off. I use a spring type closepin then clamp it with a vise grip.

My brother dose not bother doing the pinch off thing on his 684.
Here is his method:

DO NOT TOUCH Brake pedals during this procedure.

1) The hytran fluid must be warm.
2) Run engine at 1200 RPM.
3) Attach clear plastic pipe to each bleed nipple and put open end into container.
4) Open both bleed nipples and let hytran fluid flow until it is air bubble free.
5) Tightend bleed nipples.

Good luck
JB
