I have replaced all the o rings in the Hydraulic unit and I cannot get any pressure at all. I have taken it apart again to see if I put anything in wrong but everything lines up with the manual drawing. With the filler plug removed and the engine running all I get is bubbling, install the plug and no pressure. HELP

Frank,
I just redid the unit on my uncle's 140. After doing all of the o-rings and seals, the check and control valves were so worn, they had to be replaced also.

Thanks WalJohn, It was working somewhat before I replaced the seals, one bad valve and the strainer, now nothing, acts as if it is full of air but have bled it many times by the instructions in the owners manual. Frank

I am about to tackle the same project. It looks intimadating but I have been told its not a bad job. I priced the kit does $90 and change sound about right? GAskets and seal kit.

Shaggy, your price sounds about right, I got mine from Case. The job itself is not bad, pray you have a better outcome than I did. Frank

Did you properly bleed all the air out of the lines and unit?

Hyraulic Nightmare; Sounds like the hydraulic pump is cavitating on the supply side with an air pocket or head of air. Better read the manual completely in this section and figure out how to purge the troublesome air. Has got to be it.

Thanks,Dave, yes I think I purged the air. I followed the instructions in the IH Farmall service manual. Frank
