Photo add 66917 is a listing for a Farmall loader for sale. The loader is on an H, but states it will fit a C also. The model of the loader is not listed. Will that loader bolt on to either tractor or is "jury rigging" involved. It seems the H is longer then the C and wider.
Thank you

Ted, That loader is just like the one I have on my Super C that was instaled in 1953. The loader has a subframe that bolts to the front bolster and to the rear end houseing and the oil is in the top cross member as already stated.I think the only change for an H or M would be to build a new axle mount spacer. lol kjm

There is definitely a difference in the size of the C and H. It is hard to tell but it looks like the loader has one-way cylinders on it. The C does not have the reservoir capacity like the H to operate one-way cylinders. You would most likely need to operate it with self-contained pto driven hydraulic pump with a reservoir. Hard to tell from the picture but looks like it is fastened to the front, possibly the side rails which the C does not have. In my opinion it would take a lot of jury-rigging to get this to work on a C. Just my $0.02 worth.

Randy, Thanks for the follow up. A neet thing about this type of loader is they have a resevoir built into them for the extra hydraulic fluid it is a large dia cylindrical unit built cross ways into the upper frame. The C tractor would require International brackets bolted to the front sides of the tractor which were avaible. I just can't see overcoming the length and width differences. To bolt this from one tractor to another.
