GOT a 1942 mod. M (I THINK) ,the tag looks to be original, attached with four brass studs. It's in good shape and not bent or damaged in any way. However, the only thing legable is the ser. number 52923 which is stamped into the metal, no FBK is legable. There are traces of other info. present The engine no. is 52214. The rear axle housing casting dates are left 9-27-1 or I AND RIGHT 1-12-1 OR I not sure of the last digit. The main rear diff. housing has part no. 8002DD AND CASTING DATE 1-20-L On the front pedistol ( narrow front) reading from top to bottom vertically are casting mark 11-12 and in raised fancy script letters the word Belectromal. Q. No.1 ,is this info. consistent with 1942. Question 2 Did all M,s ,even the early ones have FBK before ser. no. Q.no. What is significence of the word BELECTROMAL . THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I think that Belectrol was a subcontractor that made the pedastols for IHC.
