I was able to get the cutter attached to my 3pt adapter. I threw out the manual. then repositioned the brackets and cut the top link spacer to size. Works great now!!!

Looks like you did what I suggested. I have one more suggestion. Think about front frame weights or multiple front wheel weights. You could easily wind up in a ditch by the road while traveling in 5th gear. My Woods 106 is very heavy and it causes most of the combined weight of the tractor and mower to rest on the rear axle. Your mower may not be as heavy but it is positioned further back than mine. Our centers of gravity may be fairly close.

Yes I did. After reading you suggestion I ran out with the measuring tape to see if it would work.
Its just a 5 foot light duty mower so the 400 does not even know its there.

I purchased it to clean up some spots around the home stead. The previous owners let alot grow over with brush. I busted a bracket on my JD#5 last fall trying to cut some of it out. So I figured I better get a Hog.
I looked at quite a few used ones in my price range and most were plum wore out. When I was at a auction last weekend they had a few new ones to sell, figured I better get one now before the weeds get to long again.
Oh and yes There are a few meadows I can hay if I get them cleaned up :-)
