Had some bad luck last week. I had my 1936 F-20 destroyed in a fire, so hot the frame rails bowed. About the only thing that looks decent are the rear wheels and I'm wondering if anyone knows if they would be useable. They're cutoffs and had 11-36 tires on them. Perhaps the front end might be OK too if anyone is interested.

If the rear tires have burned off of the rims, then the rims are no good. You may be able to clean them up so they look good but they will be soft and will bend easily. Had the same experience with a hay wagon full of hay one time, thought we could at least use the wheels as spares for the other wagons on the farm. Didn't work, when we loaded those wagons, the wheels which had gone through the fire just folded up.

Thanks, Yes, all the tires burned off, oil filter melted off, mag melted, radiator melted. I figured there wouldn't be anything useable but didn't know for sure if the wheels back then were heat treated or not. They are now. Thanks again
