I sold my tractor to my dad. That way it wouldn't have to go very far. Now when I get another one we can restore them together and take them to shows. All we need is a gooseneck trailer for his Freightliner.

another thing....those who have seen the picture of my tractor and saw the red hose running on the side. From the water pump to the side of the block. Why is that. I've never seen that before on any other farmall. I saw the hole in the block on close up shots but it looks like it was plugged. Does anyone know why there is a hose running there? Is it just some jerry rigged job like the alternator?

Jamie, Most likely, at one time someone had a tank heater installed which would circulate the water from the waterpump through the block by way of the block drain hole. Normally, there is just a winged or straight plug installed in the drain hole in the block. If the heater died, they may just have left a hose there connected at both ends rather than using plugs.
