I have a 53 Super A, I have been mowing the fields with a sicklebar and it works great! Plowed snow all winter too, here in VT. I noticed the last couple of times when taking her out, that the right rear wheel has a very noticable click about every revolution...I can here it with the engine running and ear protection on. Both in forward and reverse gears. Any ideas on what that is?? Also I am very interested in getting a rough cut rear mower to run on the live PTO, even tho it's offset. Anyone got one? Or know a source of supply?? Thanks

Bill: As others said, loose wheels. tighten them quick before you wear the mounts, and can never keep them tight.

Bill, You hit the nail on the head! Those are your bolts loosening up and allowing the wheel to move on every rotation. I had the same problem on my 42A while mowing with the 16A rear mount sicklemower. Get new bolts and new lockwashers and problem solved. You can get a 4ft towbehind brushmower, it will be offset since your pto is offset.
Where in Vt, Im in East Wells 20 mins southwest of Rutland.

Mine does the same thing. I pretty sure it's caused by the bolts holding the rim to the wheel loosening up.
