I have A 1940 Farmall A Industrial Tractor about 3/4 restored runs great engine has never been touched tracctor is all original 6 volt system generator and starter has been recently rebuilt, new paint job, headlights and decals hood, grill and fenders are dinged up a little but looks nice painted red even though these industrial tractors are supposed to be yellow according to guy fay's book. So I was wondering if anybody knows what the value of this tractor could be? and how many of these tractors were made?

Thanks
Dale

$1500. I don't think production figures are available, but they are not rare.

Thanks for the info I didn't think it was worth that much. And yes I did think they were rare because I talk to a lot of people that has never heard of the industrial A tractor.
Thanks
Dale

A LOT of highway depts used them in the 40's and 50's. It is worth what you can sell it for. $1500 could be on the high side for yours, since the dents, etc were painted over--the paint adds little if anything to the value.
