I have a 1947 M that looks like it's been yellow from the factory. It does not have a belly pump, the wheels look like an M. Some one painted it red over the yellow many years ago. The red wore off and the yellow coming through, looks pretty bad. I paid $800 for it with a bad starter. It had almost new Kelly Springfield tires in the rear. I have enjoyed the tractor. It's a tough old tractor.

You just have an M painted yellow at the factory, or painted by the buyer.

Yes, IH did make them, some minor differences from the regular M, notably the rear wheels and axle were different. International hood decal and International plate on the grill. Probably worth no more than the usual M, restored or otherwise. There are pictures on pages 86 and 87 in "The Big Book of Farmall Tractors"

Its only worth what your willing to pay for it or what someone else is willing to pay for it.Ms and maybe Hs as well,or at least Ive read it somewhere, that they could indeed be an idustrial tractor, like as a base for a forklift or grader or something. The front plate was changed to International as well as the hood decal.IH did build I-4 and -6s,industrial versions of the -4 and -6

You've probably found a tractor that served at least part of it's life belonging to either a State or County road maintenance entity or even possibly a road construction company. It is known as well, that IH would paint tractors any color the buyer desired if enough of them were purchased by the same buyer. I know of no "Industrial" designation on either H's or M's.

NO, the I4 and I6 are industrial versions of the W4 and W6. The tractor we are talking about is an M, not a standard tractor, although the rear wheels are not adjustable. Except for the rear wheels it appears to be identical to the M, except for some minor differences.
