My ag.sc. class is restoring a W-9 tractor to show. Our question is how do you pull the engine on a W-tractor? Our manuals do not tell and no one in our area knows how.

I just pulled the engine on my o4 probly the same procedure. first take all the sheet metal off . remove rad. gastank, aircleaner , clutch housing cover . remove clutch and flywheel to expose the bolts in back of the engine. dont try to remove the engine with the plate still attached the pins will be stuck and youll break the plate trying to remove it with the engine attached too it. remove the bolts from back of the engine and the two big nuts under the front pulley and it should come out . note.. under the front nuts is shims be shure to keep track of how many is under each nut!!! hope this helps
