I have a IH 200 touch control unit that leaks very bad. I believe I have traced most of it down to a seal for one of the touch control levers to adjust the front/back tilt or side to side tilt. How difficult is it to replace these seals and where might I find some good diagrams and instructions so I don't get in over my head. I don't have a service manual yet but am willing to buy whatever is necessary so I don't mess this up.
Thanks
Josh

Should be the same as what is on the C, and is likely just an o-ring. Only problem is you will need to remove the unit to get to it. There should be one o-ring on the plunger which is causing the leak. I replaced the o-ring, and old leather boot with a new rubber one while I was at it.

JD, I am not sure how much different your 200 touch control is from my Super A control, I would think not that much. With that said you can still buy the rebuild kit from your Case IH dealer for about $100. Includes all o-ring seals and gaskets for the main unit and the pump. Not a real difficult job, just keep organized when taking it apart, I used seperate plastic bags and numbered them. Also want to keep everything very clean. Manual can be purchased from Binder Books for about $8.

The parts manual is very helpful with its exploded views. Gives you an idea of what order the parts go together. They are worth their price when you go to order parts/gaskes/seals. My description of a part doesn't always agree with how IH describes it. A good shop manual would give you the instructions on how to do the job plus it would have torque specs., ect.
