I have two gals of Case/IH Iron Guard Enamel. Should I use it to paint my W-4 or throw it away and get a urathane? I keep the tractor inside. I posted this in the body work section but wanted to here from the IH guys!

I hate to throw it away.

Bob

By all means use it. Even with out the hardener it will give very good results.

To each his own but I would use it on the W4! There is nothing wrong with that paint which accepts reducer and hardener with ease. Just make sure you use a proper respirator when using the hardener.

Don't think there's anything wrong with it. I still use it. I get reducer and hardner from napa though, its cheaper and the martin senyor hardner gives it 5x the shine the case stuff does. Just make sure you get it for synthetic enamel the case paint is. And IH paint is about $38 per gal instead of $140 for ureathane.
