A well regarded hydraulic repair company has ruled my M&W distributer driven hydraulic pump - JUNK. Any suggestions? Steel Wheel Ranch has IHC pumps but to convert I'll need to change the timing gear cover plate. I'm not very good with wrenches. Advice? Thanks for any given. Dick Davis

I too am in need of a "live hydraulic" pump to fit my 1940 "H". If you have two by chance, please contact me. Or, if anyone else has one for sale that will fit, I really need one. Thanks!

If you're lucky enough to have an M with engine serial # 228082 and higher the IH pump will work.
Sometimes end of pump shaft that hour meter gear goes on (not used most of time) has to be cut of before pump will go all the way in.

I'll check the serial number of the engine and maybe it is one of the newer ones, thanks for the info DWV.
