just wanted to know if a person could pull a torque and change it if you split the tractor behind the engine where the clutch is. have to swap engines and have it split there and wonder if i can go through the clutch housing. also, need to pull off the front cover. how do i keep the pump timed

To repair the TA after the engine split you will need to remove the TA housing (( or speed transmission)) to repair the TA. You have to remove the bottom shaft and back shaft and the only to do that is have the housing off the tractor. On timing the pump if you are just removing the front cover you will not change the pump timing.
