Hi All,
I"m trying to remove the bull pinion shaft from a 1926 10-20, so far with no success. I"ve removed the brake drum from the left side; on the right side I"ve removed the clutch pedal and bolts from the bearing cover. I can"t pry the bearing cover off from the right side and have tried pounding the shaft out from the left side with no joy. I have the rear end and tranmission covers off and can"t see anything holding it there except rust.
Am I missing something, is there a secret, or do I just need more force?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Greg

they are a tight fit. I changed one on a 15-30 several years ago and had one heck of a time. Just don't break anything!
