I just aquired a 1206 that has a 1000 rpm (fine spline) pto. It has no 540 (course spline) shaft. I have seen several tractors with both and some with a 540 only but never with just a 1000 - how do I get a 540 is there a kit or do you need a whole unit? Your help is appreciated
Greg

Greg The 1206 only came with 1000 PTO from the factory and some bigger tractors so we always ordered with out PTO and ordered a 1000 540 pto and put it in. Farmall P is right you will need a kit.

you will need to get a whole dual pto asembly, they run about $400 for a used one that isn"t rebuilt.
