What size disk do you fellas pull with an "H"? I saw an auction bill with a 12 ft. AC this weekend. That sounds big for an "H". Thanks, Mike

Appreciate all the replys. I think this explains the 450 also on the auction bill..... ....Mike. Maybe I'll come home with both. Happy Holidays

If you want to use the disk as it was intended to be used, ie full angle, fairly deep, 8 foot is all it will pull, and that may be too big in some conditions. Forget the 12 foot, even if you had an M.

CN,

I agree with ya again! Must be gettin' another full moon or somptin'! :>)

A 12' disc is just about all a 656D wants when the ground and/or conditions are tough.

'Course I might be all wet and just used to farming this old ancient sea-floor ground, too.

Actually, back on the farm we only had a 6 foot, no hydraulics, heavily weighted, in 3rd gear. I figure it would pull a somewhat heavier 8 foot with no weights, never had one.

My 9 ft is a load for the M in some soils.

If it is cheap buy it for the discs.

They can be cut down and have spare parts left over.

Hi Mike,

They are all gonna hollar at me, but a straight H won't touch a 12' disc. If the wheels are locked down, you might be able to pull it across the yard so as to hook to another tractor that has about 45 to 50 horsepower.

YES 8 ft drags is about it I would say have a super h that works hard with it sometimes, if you are going in 4th throw dirt that is about all she can pull. If you were pull tans. and had them set out and only cuttint the top 2 " or so they may pull it but I would say you asking to burn her up.
