Most,if not all IH cultivators for H's will fit an M, but you probably will have to change the gang spacing because M's are wider than H's in the frame. I've tried 438 4 row cultivators I pushed with my Super M on a real good but not souped up H and it didn't ahndle them very good, not enough oats to get up the hills very fast--2nd gear, working it's heart out. My buddy's Super H pushed the 438s a lot better, but they really belong on a M. That's my experience.

We had a set of 2 row steering cultivators on our H that would fit either one by turning the front mounting brackets over.

Yes, that is why they made the H and M in the same configuration, so you shouldn't have any problem. On the other hand some M implements may "fit" the H, but be too big for it powerwise.

Should. We had a couple of the 2-row models, don't remember the #, think it was a 238, that we used on H's. Neighbor had a 4 row that was same model (only in 4 row) that he used on his M, we put in on an H one year for him to use when his M was busy under the farmhand. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
