Dont tell the N guys I am over here.I have two Ns and I am completely restoring one. When I get it done I am considering trading the other (working) N for an M.How much is a working M worth?Whats the H.P?I have some logs that are just too big for the N and my budget wont let me move out of the "old Iron" price range.I figure the unrestored N is worth around 1800.Thanks for the info

I would say that $1800 would be a good mid range. I live in central NY and paid $2500. for my SM but it had sentimental value. I would have not givin more than 2to22 if it had not.It had 60% rubber fire crators,Rock it govener and so on Two way hyd from belly mount pump. I think you get the picture. JON

An M is worth about 10 N's.

The downside of getting an M is you won't like Fords anymore.

An M in it's work clothes goes for $800 to $2500 about all over.

You might do better selling the N and buying an M so the guy doesn't have to want an N to sell his M.
