I hardly ever see a 330 , are they somewhat a rare tractor?

Yes, there was no row crop 330. Actually the 350U and 330U were both produced in 1957 and 1958, (350 production began in late 1956 as you know). I do not know, however, if the 350U or the 330U was discontinued first, to be "replaced" by the 460U and 340U, respectively.

The 330 is basically a 350 with a C135 engine in it, as opposed to the C175 in the 350 (I am mentioning only gas engines). For some reason IH was not yet ready to introduce the 340, which uses the same engine, thus the 330. Don't really know IH's logic, as the replacement for the 350 was the 6 cylinder 460. This is about the time IH was expanding their line, and the model sequence begins to get a little fuzzy to me.

The 330 is about 2 or 3 inches shorter than a 350.

Probably the C135 is shorter than a C175.

The 330 was built in '57 & '58. There were 4,261 sold. We just bought one and it's the only one I've ever seen in our area. Neat little tractor.

Yes they are when my Dad had one years ago we thought there were only two ours and a neighbor, then we found out a guy that lived about eight miles from us had one also.
