Hey farmaller, If you look down on the forum for hey Tanner you will get a better Idea . He Has an H that he has been trying to get going for about a month now I think. We all have been trying to help and really want to see him get it going. I am not saying he would hire anyone but I dont think his problem is that severe. JON

Mag,

Good idea, I was going to bring that up, but didn't want to step on any toes or offend the lad.

Hope he gets 'er going.

Hey my email is on here. I just saw this post, thanks Magman, I was wondering where I should post such a request. I am in Manassas, VA. Anyway, if anyone is willing to basically go over everything on this tractor with me that would be really cool. I plan on cleaning all the important parts up once again, Dist. Carb, Governor, etc, prior to having anyone over, and I will also try to have an extra piece of each of the above. Please contact me if, you have extensive knowledge like Magman, Allen in NE, etc. Beer, food, and a good laugh at a city boy who is diving into this addicting hobby of Farmall restoration, will be my only gaurentee if you are able to help me. Allen, would it suprise you if I said I was 27 years old, and have multiple college degrees, yet i read these IH manuals and can't figure out how to get her running again. O well, I am just frustrated. If Magman was serious, I might be willing to fly you down here to help me out. Keep me posted. I won't be able to do this for about 3 weekends.

tanner,
I am probably a half hour South of you. Seems the older I get the worse my schedule gets :( but if I can help, let me know. I have Super C, Super H and Super M tractors here and a 230 at the moment. Contact me off line when you're free. [and I don't drink, so I'll be even cheaper ;) ;) ]

I've seen Stan's "stuff". If he can't get it done, sell the H for "parts". I'm just north of you in Chantilly. I've got some experience in Cs,SuperCs and a 230 as well. What year is your H?

I am up the road from you in Fairfax. If you need some help, let me know. I'm not an expert but I have an H and M (not in Fairfax though!). Tanner, I might be more of a hinderance than a help, I'm only 25 with 1 degree!

yes it is a 44 H. Farmaller, where are you located an hour north of me? Anyway, once I get ready to give this a try again in about 3 weekends, I might have a couple of you come over if possible. However if farmaller wants me to trailer this tractor back up to his shop, I could do that to, but a flight down would be a lot better, don't you think so.
