I know that this subject was brought up once already but i was at the Red Power Round Up in Iowa and i talked to the owner of the H-ta Desial they never made one out of the factory he told me how to take a 300,350,or a 460 rear end and it would bolt right up to the front end of an H all you have to do is cut an extra hole in the rear end so the sterring wheele will fit so am i right that never was on built in the factory

I know a guy that has an order for one and will do another if someone wants one.

Kind of like they made a Super A with a single front wheel! there was one at the roundup though.

Did I miss something? Did we not establish long ago that any conversation having to do with tractors was a "worthwhile" discussion? We could always go back to politics. Oops, that was deemed not to be "worthwhile". Have you a better suggestion? I think Dave H (Mi) has the perfect solution.

Nothing wrong with how to make one, as to what fits and what doesn't, I wouldn't mind doing that myself, if I had the time and money. I am opposed to the arguments as to whether they were factory or not, that is truly a waste of time and clutters up the board (just as I am doing now).

It's on topic and educational for those who have not ever addressed the subject before. If you are opposed to it there is always the little arrow at the bottom right of the window or the red x at the upper right. Just don't read it.

Didn't mean to ruffle feathers, as I have responded to most of them -- just seems to be coming up more often for some reason. Perhaps there are more peeople reading -- my x is black, what version do you have?

Thanks, Dave. Actually, that whole discussion got my brain to wandering and wondering about the possibility of home building a 4x4 articulating tractor with a letter series flair. Wouldnt it be worthy of conversation to see an A, or an H, for example, modified into such a configuration? I certainly wouldnt destroy a good tractor but would not discount building one with junkyard parts.

Somebody has already done with WD9s. I have a couple of pics on my hard drive. If somebody asks, I will post them in Tractor Photos.

I believe it has also been done with Cub Cadets but I have no pics.
