I have two carbs for my Super A. Both are Zenith carbs and both are for a Super A, but one carb has the adjustable main jet. This carb seems to give me a little more power. Is this just my imagination or is there really some difference in the carb that could account for this?

Pete

Actually, the C113/123 tends to run rich, you may be getting more power because you can actually adjust the thing.

the kerosene carb has a bigger jet to allow the thicker fuel to get through. that tractor should have no problem pulling but watch the fuel gauge.

According to the manual, the distillate and kerosene carburetors had a main jet adjustment and the gasoline carb had only idle mixture adjustmant. You can run the d/k carb with gasoline by adjusting the mixture screws until the engine runs smooth. Maybe the d/k carb has a bigger bore, or more tuneable due the main jet adjustment and would explain the preceived extra power.
