Anyone have a way to remove the hood decals without messing up the paint. Tractor paint is in good condition but the decals look like you know what. Thanks for any ideas.

Borrow your wifes hairdryer and get things warmed up good, the decal should peal off. You may have to work at it a bit. Once the decal is off you can use plain old rubbing alcohol to remove the residue. A heat gun used for stripping paint will also work but could actually burn the paint.

A heat gun will help take them off. Then go to your local paint supplier or auto parts store and they usually have a spray can of decal remover that does a good job. I can't give you any specific names on the remover, been awhile since I've used some.
