Took the advice of some people from the forums. I added these braces to the cross members to strengthen them. This photo is from the next rack I am working on but went back and retrofitted these to the other racks I have done.

I'd like to see the pictures of what you had before, but I can't find it. Did you have a more complete picture of your hay racks?

That looks better Kelly, I probably put one more bolt in the lower end. Then I'd recomend cross pieces between the main bed pieces too. in you other post you showed one at one end and it was a smaller timber. Id use the same width (height) as the bed pieces. fasten it with angles and bolts too. You don't want that frame to roll and twist because it will try to lay over on you.
