Hi, I am still hunting for a tractor and this one is up for auction next week. Ad says 1300 hours and the picture looks nice and clean. Probably won"t get a chance to see in person until the day of the auction.

Thanks,

Kirk

BTW, how does this compare to the 504 I made the mistake of selling last fall?

Kirk, in the "Western Ontario Farmer" weekly publication, 584's bring $10 000 ($9600-9800 etc) without loaders. I understand the 2250 loader is a good unit so ..$12,000-14,000 ? I have a 584 with 1100 hours on it and I wouldn't want to say"for sale" in case anyone heard me because around here it would be gone fast...Mike in Exeter Ontario

Kirk,

I have a 584 with a Koyker loader, not factory. Low hours like you said, probably nice shape. Here in Mass or New England, 10,000 all day. The only issue is a real tractor guy would like it, these stupid yuppy so called famrers here in New England want Kubota, 4 wd , 30 hp with loader. Why, I don't know. So, if you sale is around here, you will get it resonable. But, if not, you may pay as they are great, I love mine and she has been good to me. Look under Iron Solutions in your browser and go to equipment search and see what they bring, you will see. Good luck, it is a good machine.

and for some reason the 584 has an extra 1/2 gallon a minute flow on the hydraulics compared to other 74 and 84 series tractors gives 12.5 gallons a minute so good for loader work check to see if the hand brake works though as ine didnt had to strip the rear enrd to replace it just finished the job
