Hey guys, just picked up a pretty slick looking Farmall 100 yesterday. Had a set of cultivators, middle buster, what was left of the planters and a 3point hitch conversion(still in the box), got the whole smash for $800.00 and was real close to home, bout 3 miles. Motor is stuck but overall looks real good, some of the emblems on the hood are gone, still has the battery box on it and the pto shield. Just wondering if soaking will be enough too free the engine? I know its kinda hard to make that call but any thing better to soak with than others. I think it was a pretty good deal myself as the tractor is real straight and the paint on it isn't bad really.

Gary: What you put in on top of pistons not near as important as your patience. First thing I would do is remove starter, then each day you can work the engine both ways with a screwdriver, and do it gently.

We broke a Farmall C loose by using tranny fluid
to soak and rocking rear wheels once in a while.
Finally let go after about 3 months time, that was
before I knew about PB-Blaster like Andrew has
mentioned,I don't think you can beat it.

Gary, That is a good deal! I got my Super A three years ago and I payed $700 with a set of cultivators, front grill needs to be replaced, motor free but not running. That hitch is worth some money,so that is not bad. Take your plugs out and dump some of your favorite concoction down the plug holes and let it sit. Good Luck!
