Is there anything special about a gold 806 emblem or is that the way they came? It is a 1965 model. Also anyone know how much it costs on average to go through the injection pump? This one is leaking from where the throttle shaft goes through and I believe it is a IH pump, not a Roosa style.
Thanks
Corey

Gee, I have not seen an 806 with a gold nameplate. Our 1964 806 has a silver one. I know that the 1206 came with both a silver plate and a gold plate and that the gold plate model was supposed to have more power. I don"t know if that is true or not. Maybe it was a special thing or a promotion? Beats me, if you find out, post it here because I find that really interesting.

Would think a 65 has a roosa pump.A couple o rings should fix the leak on the shaft get at a dealer or pump shop. You can fix that with out removeing the pump.

These old style inj. pump are obsolete and very expensive to repair if they can be repaired. I've switched one over to a Roosa Master pump just cause it was cheaper to go that way.
