As some of you know, I am looking for a set or at least one 16 inch rim for a W9, haven't had much luck yet. I found a couple pictures of a W9 that has non-stock rims on it. I posted the pictures in the photos section, and here is one.

My question is, what kind of rims are they? Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for any info.

The late productiom 9 had this rim, also 600 series. Is the tractor still in Colorado? If so, there is a salvage yard on highway 34 between Greeley and Loveland that might have rims.

Since you said 16 inch, I guess you are talking about the front rims. According to the W9 parts catalog I have, there were only 18 inch rims available for the front. Those rims would be ones that attach to the hubs with the standard IH clamps. The rims are 5.5 X 18 drop center rims. Miller tire lists those in their 2004 catalog. If you are talking about rear rims, you would have to mean the width. The parts catalog lists 26, 32 and 34 inch diameter rims for the rear, in several different widths. The only one listed 16 inches wide is the 26 inch diameter. I'd say that would be hard to find. Not in the catalog, but call miller tire anyway.

Are you sure it is supposed to have 16's on it? All the ones I've seen have 18 inch rims with a 7.50x 18 tire on it. That's why the 9's have the 5 spoke cast wheel center instead of the 3 spoke, like the 6's. Did the early 9's have the 16" rims?
