OK I am trying to fix up an early F-12 (1933). I have been told from the fellow I bought it from that it came out origionally with factory option rubber front and rear. Another fellow tells me that F-12 couldn't be gotten on rubber until later. I thought I had read pneumatics were an option from the gitgo like on the F-20s and 30s. Anyone have the documentation or know where I can find it for sure?

my mid april 1934 f-12 came from the factory with rubber. 7.5 X 10 single front, 9.5 X 36 rears. My orginal (been a long day, can"t spell right now) F+H rear rims do not have the extra webbing cast into them as the 48C"s do. I think the cast number on the original rears is a 67C. Hopefully Guy Fay will answer your question more difinively.

I have often heard that rubber was not factory available until 1935 or 36. However, I believe cutdowns were made a few years before then. I have read that early (and I mean EARLY) tractor pneumatics were nothing more than airplane tires with their rims welded to the steel centers. This was unsatisfactory since the tires would spin on the rims; they were not designed to pull that kinda load.

I was thinking like you are, that you could get it, but expensive at the time. Have you tried the DATA BOOK by Guy Fay? It usually lists available options.

Got that databook it five inches from my greasy fingers right now Keven but couldn't find it. I was sure I read somewhere rubber was an option but the guy has me doubting now. Drives me nutZZ. Anyway, that is a short drive and I visit often.

Thanks Kevin.
