Here in the next couple of days, my father is picking up a 460 with a Schwartz wide-front end. It is an amish tractor, so it doesn"t have the original rims and tires. Can I take the hubs off of this wide-front end and put on hubs, rims, and tires off of an M narrow-front end? Also, will I have to drill any holes in the M frame to put the wide-front end on, like the frame rails for instance? Thanks in advance.

Could be possible that H hubs would fit if the M's are too big. I installed a Schwartz wide front on my 560 without any drilling.

I'm about 90% sure the M hubs fit, but you can try it pretty easy.

I believe you will need to drill either four or six holes in the frame rails depending on which wide front you get. They will be ½ inch and 5/8 inch in diameter.

As far as the hubs, I don’t know but you could measure bearings to find out if the hubs will interchange. I prefer a six bolt hub on mine, but what you prefer may be different. Sorry I can’t be of more help on the hubs.
