I have a 300 I with power steering. I just installed another remote controll valve on it beside the one that is used to control the 2pt hitch. The power steering worked fine before I installed the second valve. Now the steering is sluggish and somewhat hard to steer. I don't have any idea what happened. Any info. would be appreciated.

There's a specific path that the oil has to flow to make things work right. Obviously, you've changed or blocked that path.

Tell us how it was configured before. If your 2 point hitch valve was beside the priority/safety valve, I don't think you could just slide another one in there. I think you may need to put the new one up front and link them together with a TEE and tubing. That's the way my 3 valve setup is.

ALSO - Be SURE you pull the front cover off that priority/safety valve, find the filter screen and clean or replace it. I wasn't able to find it (and nobody could tell me where it was at the time), and messed up my whole system bad!
