Well I finally got the old girl to run, but I do need a new set of points. I have a delco remy distributor on this thing and between two parts stores they can't come up with a set of pionts. I was hoping maybe someone here might have a part number for the pionts. My distributor number is 1111411 delco. Also I put all new hoses on the power steering pump and when the tractor is running I have no pwer steering. Is there a way to prime or bleed the pump? Thanks guys.

If you have a flow control valve on the system, this valve controls how much fluid goes to the P/S an how much goes to the rest of your hydralic systems. Move the lever to give the P/S more fluid.

Thanks guys. I will have the parts store run thase numbers for the points. Then when I get it running again I'll try to bleed the air out of the power steering as you mentioned. Thanks again.

Todd - Try jacking the front end off the ground to unload the front wheels. Then with the engine running, turn the steering wheel back and forth several times as far as it will go to work trapped air out of the PS system. (Make sure the reservoir is full before you start...)

SAFETY FIRST!! To jack the front end, block BOTH drive wheels front and rear and lock both brakes. Then place the jack under the clutch housing.

NAPA should have points and a condenser for your tractor and your Case/IH dealer too. The Borg Warner P/N for points is HS4. Hal
Your PS may need to be bled to remove the air.
