THANKS to EVERYONE that helped me with the Carb on my 154 Cub Lo-Boy. I adjusted it and it ran MUCH BETTER but I figure I should take it apart and check the float. I checked that the float height was set at 1 13/32" and added 3/16" to that for the drop (with the top upside down). I had to increase the drop slightly. I measured both times from the gasket surface and NOT the top of the carb. Was I correct to do this?? Thanks!!

Yes, the gasket should be in place when you make the measurement. Usually when these issues come up, I discover I made the wrong choice.
