I am looking at an International 656 row-crop. Does anyone know either of the following:

How much taller is the row-crop that the utility?

How wide is the 656 from the outer edges of the rear tires, and how long is it? I want to see if I can haul it on the tilt bed trailer I have.

Thanks to all the guys that answered my earlier questions about another 656.. hope I didn't start a quarrel over the details haha ;)

Thanks,

Darren

the tractors are close to the same height, but you sit higher on the farmall. farmall is about a foot and 1/2 longer. agree on the weight, my 560 (pretty similar) with loaded tires and no loader hit the scales at 8100# at a pull a couple years ago. i was surprised.

I can pretty much tell you that you aren't going to be able to haul it with what you have. In fact, the tractor will probably crush the truck and trailer you're thinking of using.

The tractor will weigh in excess of 4 TONS with a loader and fluid in the tires. It will be over 7 feet wide unless it's been narrowed up.

With an appropriate trailer, you're probably talking about 5 to 6 tons behind the truck. If your truck isn't AT LEAST a 1-ton dually, forget it.

I have an f350 dually with a 12k capacity tilt bed trailer that was used for hauling a large trencher. The truck and trailer will handle the weight as I have hauled 8k plus before, but I am worried about the width and length. It'll haul a car no problem like there isn't even anything back there...
