I had this very problem on my Super M. Cleaned the screen at the carb and its been better for a couple years now. The screen was right full of flakes of rust and crud. Now when I park the tractor for the winter it gets a good dose of Seafoam and don't get any more crud in the screen.

Another quick-fix that may help is to wave a 2" round magnet, with an eye-bolt fixed through the center, on the end of 2' of coat-hanger wire over the bottom of the tank. Do this with the tank 1/4 full and you'll pick up a lot of rust. I did this when I had a similar problem with my H, then I left the magnet in the tank just next to the outlet port. I clean it off every once in a while but I haven't had a fuel blockage problem since. This would be in addition to CNKS' recommendations.

Hadn't thought of that one -- I have Super A I need to do that to.

Crud in the bottom of the gas tank got stirred up when new gas was put in the empty tank. First try cleaning the sediment bowl and screen, make sure there is nothing in the outlet of the tank. Disconnect the fuel line at the carb, and remove the carb fitting it screws into and clean the screen. If that doesn't help you are going to have to clean the carb. As a last resort, one that may or may not be necessary for lasting results, you can clean the tank.
