I want to rewire my 1949 Faramll CUB. Can anyone tell me where the wiring harness clips go on the main wiring harness, the front lights harness and the rear light harness? Is there some place on the Net that shows me the locations?

The Operator's manual will tell you.

I don't have an Operator's manual so that is why I asked the question on this board.

Would you buy microwave oven or dvd/vcr without getting a manual?? Tractor manuals (poor copies) can be bought for next to nothing.(good copies cost a lil bit more).

If you own a tractor/vehicle, ect. You better have a manual. There is vital maintenence and safety information inside. Information that you won't get from posting on the internet..... .sermon over.

I plan to buy one because I have a manual for every tractor that I own. However, I just got the tractor on Tuesday and I want to get started working on it. I just posted the question to see if anyone could answer my question so I can get the parts ordered. I thought the purpose of this board is to gain information not for individuals to talk down to others.

I did not put you down and I don't appreciate people like lo -- something, below. You did not explain the situation. If you had said you had ordered tha manual, I would not have responded. I do not have a Cub, I do have 7 other tractors, and the Operator's manual along with the parts manual is the best place to look for things like that. Without them I would be lost when it comes to reassembly. Basically, I answered your question because I told you where to look -- if others can give exact locations, that's fine too.

Nice comeback! I just love these jerks who try to put you down by telling you to "look in the manual" instead of giving you a hand by sharing the information you are asking for. I once asked what the two holes in the hood of a Farmall Cub were for. Another jerk (maybe the same one) told me to buy a manual. At that time I didn't own a Cub, I just wanted to know what the holes were for. "There's one in every crowd" but there are a lot of good guys out there too.

I have been on this board since 1999, you are the first person who has called me a jerk -- I'm not going to say what I think you are, because Kim would probably ban me --- .

On MINE,there are a couple of clips that bolt down up under the tank where the tank bolts to the rear support, but mine has the long support so I dont know if it would be that way on the short support.but my wires do hang just a little between the last support and the one on the head, which on mine was replaced with a generic deal from Lowes. The Headlights on MINE are just kinda there, but there were clips on the fan shroud at one time, one on each side.
