Yes John, That,s the wheel,I want for my W-6,
That,s one sweet m you have ,when did you get it done,
It,s really pretty,
I hope to have my w-6 looking like that in not too far off of time,
John, I like the look of redone M,s better than W-6,s,
Am I crazy,
Maybe it,s the row crop look of the M,s
that makes it stand out ,or look better,
The W-6 has that squat look to it like a wheatland tractor,
Oh well It,s all water under the bridge I guess,
But Yet I cant get that M look out of my head,
I dont know, maybe Ill have to trade My W-6 for an M,
Well see,
Kirk c,

That was my Dads M he bought in 1975 or 76 from the origianl owners son. I restored it,or had it restored about 5 years ago. The guy who restored it let me help so I could learn some of the basic painting skills I didnt have at the time, and he had more time and a good shop to work on it than I did and was very willing to teach me.(It also cut down on the cost) Since he was retired and travled to alot of tractor shows,he also had better access to used parts, which I didnt need too much, just some minor things. It was very fun learning from the old feller, and listening to some of his stories I would love to have a W-6 as they are pretty rare around here. Where are you located and maybe we could work out a trade.I have an M I would part with for a W-6.

Kirk, some of the M"s had the same front wheels as the 6. Anyway, as far as the "play in the steering box, remove the arm and rotate it on the shaft. You may also want to tighten up the adjustment on the drag link and check the king pins. Most of these old gals are worn everywhere.
