Here are a few close up photos of a 1927 spark advance. The spark advance bell crank is homemade. Note the two sheet metal supports - one near the SA lever,the other for the throttle.

I think the later & F20s had a similar set up for the SA, but throttle was seperate. SA was solid rod, not hollow tube like this one.
