I see in Red Power aftermarket lightbar toolboxes for a Farmall H? Does anybody have any experience with these boxes? How is the quality? Are they exactly like the origional? Thanks!!

I have a new one and an old one. The new one is a perfect reproduction. Buy with confidence. Get the special decal too.

I took one off an M that I purchased at an auction ,Was in real good shape, There were no IH part numbers on it.I put a picture of it on the auction on this site and it brought 95 bucks, plus shipping I believe these were a vendor item IH purchased and dealers sold

How much are they asking for them?. I know a guy with a whole box full of new ones he says he got from a dealer auction. But he wants to much for them . Actually I am not sure if they were oem in the first place. They may have been aftermarket way back when. I asked here a few months ago with no answer.

Magman, just my opinion but the probability of those tool boxes being OEM or NOS is very slim. There hasn't been a tractor built since 1954 that those boxes would fit on. I suppose it is possible that they have been in inventory for 50 plus years but it just doesn't seem likely. In any event, I've far better things to spend $100 on anyhow.
