Have a neighbor that has a 560 Diesel, with a locked up engine, that wants to sell it. I don't need it, but he only wants $1200-$1500 for it. He has to check his bills to see what he just put in it. Grandson ran it out of oil. I know he just had glow plugs put in it, and other things as well. It's located 55 miles NE of Dallas, Texas. I told him I would ask to see what you folks thought about it. Overall a decent tractor, tight WFE, LPTO, newer front tires, worn rears(still have some tread left) decent sheet metal, hydraulics. Everthing worked okay the last time I used it.

Sounds like there is at least $1,500 worth of parts there, and you might possibly get it running again with some new bearings and possibly grinding the crankshaft?

I have known the old fellow for a number of years, and I don't think he would shine me on about it. He told me the tractor was idleing when it locked up. His mechanic dropped the pan, and pulled a rod bearing cap, and told him it was "scratched pretty bad". I talked to the mechanic about an hour ago, and he feels that with a crank kit it would take care of it. The old fellow does not want to put any more money in it, so he asked me to sell it on the internet for him. I will get some pictures of it, some of the sheet metal is not at the repair shop, so I will wait until they have it all together, then I will list it on the YT photo ad section. He said he needs to get $1500 for it because of what he just put into it. Again, has a WFE, fast hitch, three lever hydralics, LPTO, ect. He wants to sell it complete, and let someone else part it out.
