I have a International 300U. Just bought it this summer and it needs some work. One this is the manifold and exhaust. Right now the previous owner has a manifold from I don't know what on it with a car mufflor. I was wondering if anyone out there that had a 300U could take a picture of how their setup is so i can get an idea on how it is suposed to look. I beleave it is suposed to be a vertical system but would like to see both. Thanks guys.

I have a 300 utitily and My exhaust goes down by the Carb. and then turns back towards the back of the Tractor and then has a muffler under the clutch side of the tractor. The only thing bad about this is that when you hook up impl. you get exhaust in the face.

The 300U has an optional up or down exhuast depending on pipe that screws into the top of the exhaust manifold. One will take it straight up and the other will curve to the left for a down and under the tractor exhaust/muffler.

I don't have a photo, but I've currently got a cousin's 300U apart for a valve job. It has a factory down exhaust manifold.

The 300U engine however is essentially the same as a Farmall H/SuperH/300/350. If you want to cut a hole in the hood and run a vertical exhaust, a manifold for any of the above will work.
