Would an international I-6 originally have had a swinging drawbar or was this only an option on the W-6? Also, if a pintle hook was an option on an I-6, where whould it have mounted, on the drawbar or under the front bolster? thanks

The pintle hook was the standard hitch on the I-6 (also I-4 and I-9). The regular drawbar as on the W tractors and swinging drawbar were optional on the I tractors.

Hello,The pintle/drawbar that was standard on the I-6, is quite different than the drawbar offered on agricultural tractors. I have not been able to find any pictures of this assembly other than in the owners manual, and it is rather vague. My I-6(which Im giving away, see photo ads 12-11-05) has been fitted with a homemade drawbar. If you send me your email address, Il send you a bigger picture of the page...Tom
