I am working on a 42 IH H that someone has eliminated the bat to gen. wire(s). It is still 6 volt with reg on top of gen. There is a wire hanging out of the box that I assume goes to the gen. I haven't pulled the cap off with gauge to see yet but if that is the wire do I need another wire to run back to the bat. In other words should there be 2 wires on the bat termenal of the regulator. The wire for the ign. is ok.
