Trying to finish up restoration on 350 Farmall so ordered the side panel decals (Blanc White)last week from the local I.H. dealer. Showed there was a pair in Kansas City so ordered them with quick air freight. Today they call me and say that even though they show on computer they can not physically find any and don't where else to look. So now what do I do? Resand the insert areas and try to paint it or does anybody know where there is a set of these decals. Thanks Migraine

A good sign shop that does alot of business will have the vinyl in a shade that is very close. It would probably cost less than five dollars for enough material for both panels. You should probably get a little extra so that you can practise applying the decal. Air bubbles can be a problem. Listen well to the dirctions from the sign painter.

Find a 350 with original paint and make a tracing similar to how people trace grave stones. That will be your template for cutting the new panels.

I'd give Bermuda Ken (Updike) at Carter and Gruenewald a call next week 1-866-FARMALL and have him check. He listed both RH & LH hood decals for a 450 in the last issue of Red Power Mag. ($25.25 ea) You could always trim it down if needed for the 350. Good luck and Merry Christmas neighbor.
