Dear friend, I teach Graphics and Product Design at A large midwest University ~15,000 students. I have extensive design as well as career advisement experience (27yrs teaching university level courses). The following info. taken from their website, is an indicator of two things.One of them is that High Profile Art Schools are not "system" schools. Schools like The Art Center College of Design, and other Art Colleges in Chicago, San Fransisco, LA, and New York City, Do charge $$$ but they are not in need of finding jobs for their grads, the grads are snapped up like dead ripe Dekalb XL45. I would not call it a diploma mill. It serves a broad spectrum of needs. The other is that If true talent is in the youngster, then a good school (Nationally Accredited) is worth immediate application and effort to be accepted. My personal opinion is that the information below would shy me away.
