I just bought the tractor and it has 145pounds of compression across all 4. I guess thats pretty good. Must have some type of aftermarket pistons in her. Andrew

That's pretty good, actually.

I just found this website:
Link

It lists the stock figures for many farmalls, and according to that, 130PSI is stock original on a Super H.

A gasoline Super H is 6.1:1 compression ratio. My Super H is getting rather tired.... been run hard doing jobs an M should have done but the head & pan have never been off and it pulls 100-110 psi. Tractor runs O-K but I'm sure it needs at least rings & valve job.

Generally anything over 120 on older iron used for everyday work is considered good. You want all cylinders within 10% of each other.

Maybe the tractor vet or somebody else has numbers for a freshly rebuilt engine. My problem is the only time I take a compression test is when there is a problem suspected, and by then the engines usually have a lot of wear on them.

Good question, and one I'd like to see the answer to myself.

For reference, mine is 125-130 PSI across all the cylinders. According to the back of the compression tester we were using, an engine with a compression ratio of 8:1 should have around 140 PSI. I'm pretty sure a stock Super H would have a lower ratio than that.
